May 4: PJ Library's Birthday Party for Israel Join your PJ Library friends at Billy Beez from 9-10 AM, to celebrate Israel's 66th Independence Day. Billy Beez is a brand-new, 25,000-square-foot indoor playground in the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack. Hazikaron and Yom Haatzmaut Commemoration and Celebration,
7:30 PM at New City
Jewish Center. Recognizing those who served in the IDF. Program followed by
a festive celebration that includes falafel, music and dancing. Featuring guest
speaker Noam Shalit, father of Gilad Shalit, an IDF soldier who was abducted by
Hamas in 2006 and held captive for over 5 years. $100 per person for pre-event
dinner with Noam at 6 PM and reserved seating during the program. $10 per person
for general admission/falafel; children under 10 are free. Register

Opdyke. For Pomegranates and Lions of Judah giving at the $1,800 and $5,000

Mor Maman. Mor shares an uplifting message of overcoming obstacles and
following your dreams that will resonate with teens and women of all

June 1: Celebrate Israel Parade.March with Rockland Federation in the annual Celebrate Israel Parade. Buses will leave from the Rockland Jewish Community Campus (time TBD) to bring us to NYC for the parade down Fifth Avenue.
