With song, Beth Kramer, educational director at Temple Beth El, Sandy Peck-Borowsky, principal at Orangetown Jewish Center and Laurie Hoffman, director of the Center for Jewish Education of Rockland, honored longtime Rockland educators. Leslie Goldress, of New City Jewish Center, Juliet Barr, of the Reform Temple of Suffern, Elena Schwartz, of Temple Beth Sholom in New City, Judy Jaffe, of Beth Am Temple in Pearl River, and Jodi Kauffman, of Temple Beth Torah of Nyack, were noted for their years of dedication as Jewish educators,
   CJER celebrated Jewish educators with its annual brunch and silent auction. Lori Scott, Temple Beth Sholom's nursery school director, received the community educator award. Judy Schanzer, of Temple Beth El, received the Phyllis and Herb Schulman Educator of the Year award.
