Those moving to Rockland this year can expect:

• free home warranty from Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty
• $500 off closing costs for first time homebuyers, and $50 bonuse when you open a new checking account from Provident Bank; loan applicants can also apply and qualify for a “First Home Club” loan through Federatl Home Loan Bank of New York, which will match up to $7,500 on a down payment. New businesses can apply for a line of credit with no annual fee between April 1 and June 30, 2011.
• Complimentary moving kit from Santi Express that includes shrink wrapping, mattress bags, some boxes and tape, up to $150 value. Move must be scheduled and a deposit made.

Jewish organizations will provide:

• $3,000 per year per child off tuition at Reuben Gittelman Hebrew Day School per year for newcomers enrolling their students in kindergarten through 2nd grade for families moving to the county between April 10, 2011 and August 31, 2012
• free two-year community membership to JCC Rockland for people who move to the county between March and December 2011. Proof of residence required; only available to new members.
• free year membership at the Holocaust Museum and Study Center in Spring Valley.

50 percent off dues for the first two years; or a free one-year membership.

50 percent off dues for all new members and young families. Dues for new members are discounted for one year. For young families dues remain discounted through age 35.

Orangetown Jewish Center
50 percent off dues for the first two years for those who move tothe county between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 who become members by the latter date.

Shaarey Israel
Fifty percent off membership for two years. Under-35 families received special $350 dues. Free Hebrew schoolf for grades K-2. Join on Shalom Rockland Day and recevie free Hebrew school for two years.

Temple Beth El
50 percent off first and second year's dues for any one who joins as a result of attending Shalom Rockland Day.

Two years' dues discounted by $500 per year for famiies or $300 per year for single or senior membership for those joining through May 30, 2013.
