Beth Am Temple is hosting the “Why a Will?” presentation on Sunday, November 15 at 10 am. Perry Kotzker will lead the program, which is open to the public. He will discuss the importance of having a will and other critical actions to take before a loved one passes away. Kotzker’s knowledge of wills comes from his years of being an accountant and assisting clients and friends. Rabbi Daniel Pernick will deliver opening remarks.
The presentation will cover steps to take to minimize financial and legal stress during what is an emotional period. Suggestions will be shared that can result in saving time and money and help avoid family conflicts. A bagel breakfast will be provided during the approximately 90-minute session.
The program is free for Beth Am members. Non-Temple members are asked to make a $10 donation. Reservations are requested, please RSVP to [email protected] or call (845) 735-5858, ext. 101.
