Did you know that before the great black migration from the south, Harlem was the third largest Jewish settlement in the world? In a program sponsored by National Council of Jewish Women, Rockland Section, Marty Schneit, a licensed New York City tour guide, will explain why Jews selected to live in Harlem and will discuss many of the prominent individuals who lived there including Oscar Hammerstein, Richard Rogers, Yoselle Rosenblatt, Eric Weiss and Milton Berle. Invite your family and friends to enjoy this armchair tour of Jewish Harlem as Marty takes us on a wonderful trip back in time.
