On November 9, 1938, the German Nazi government destroyed Jewish homes, businesses, synagogues and families. There were over 30,000 Jews arrested, 91 Jews brutally murdered and hundreds more injured. Kristallnacht foreshadowed the terror and destruction o f the Holocaust.
