Join Beth Am Temple’s festive Purim service on Monday, March 9 at 7 pm. Costumes are encouraged and the public is invited to participate in singing, dancing, noisemaking and the lively Megillah reading.
Eighth-grade religious school students along with Rabbi Daniel Pernick, Cantor Marcy Kadin and Principal Karen Herskowitz will perform in the “Big Bang Theory” Purim shpiel. Join the celebration of survival and experience a unique retelling of the story of how Queen Esther saved the Jews of ancient Persia. The child-friendly service will last about an hour and 15 minutes and be followed by a Purim-themed Kiddush. The service is open to the public.
