Welcome to the 11th annual Global Day of Jewish Learning…GDJL
GDJL began in 2010 as a celebration of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz’ z”l monumental work of translating the Talmud. It is now an annual celebration bringing together Jews across the spectrum of beliefs and organizations, and into classrooms and homes all around the world.
We have chosen as this year’s theme, Human Dignity, because this enduring Jewish value is more important in this year of the Pandemic than ever.
GDJL is a project of Limmud North America and is dedicated to connecting people of all Jewish backgrounds to learn from and with the rabbinic bodies of all the denominations, for promoting the Global Day to their constituencies.
Please join these three great Rockland teachers, Rabbis Jill Hackell, Ami Hersh, and Paul Kurland, and take a step ahead in your own Jewish learning and commitment.
