On Sunday, January 22 at 3:00 the Rockland Camerata under the direction of Matthew Rupcich, will present a Celebration of Baroque Choral Splendor featuring a spectrum of Baroque choral masterpieces by composers such as Monteverdi, Gabrieli, Hassler, Schütz, and also Jewish Baroque works by Salamone Rossi and Ludovico Saladin. Several compositions double the choir into eight voices. Soloists Nicholas Tamagna, counter tenor, and Matt Hughes tenor, as well as brass instruments will further enhance a unique musical experience. In the event of a major snowstorm the concert will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 3:00 pm.
