Come join the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education for Tisha B'Av with film screenings of Voices from the Attic and Joe's Violin.
Voices From the Attic: A filmmaker travels to Poland with her aunt and five cousins to explore the ordeal of her mother and fifteen family members who hid in the attic of a peasant's home for two years during the Second World War.
Joe's Violin: In this 2017 Academy Award nominated short documentary film a donated musical instrument forges an improbable friendship between 91-year-old Holocaust survivor Joe Feingold and 12-year-old Bronx school girl Brianna Perez, showing how the power of music can bring light in the darkest of times and how a small act can have a great impact.
