Joseph Levy, a native of Cairo, Egypt, who came to the United States as a baby in 1958, will discuss the subject of Jewish refugees from the Arab countries. Mr. Levy has had a passionate interest in the subject of Jewish refugees from the Arab countries and in his opinion, they are the forgotten people of the longstanding Arab-Israeli dispute. Mr. Levy’s presentation will be in two parts: a general look at Jewish history in the Arab countries and Jewish life in Egypt, late 19th century to the present.
