Beth Am Temple will mark the conclusion of the harvest season celebration on Wednesday, October 11 at 7 pm with the Erev Simkhat Torah service to honor reading and learning Torah. The service signals the end of the yearlong cycle of reading Torah and starts the new cycle with the story of creation and Genesis Chapter 1. Everyone can play a role in the service, which include the ceremonial unrolling of the Torah scroll accompanied by singing and dancing.
A Yizkor memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 8:30 am.
