Together We Do Extraordinary Things

Rockland Federation's 2014 Annual Campaign will come to a close on June 30 and we need your support to meet our fundraising goal.

Thanks to our caring community, this year we were able to fund 30 grants to our partner agencies that build, sustain and strengthen our local community. We were able to act immediately in times of crisis through our global partners in the Ukraine, ensuring the care and safety of Jews in peril.

We were able to have engaging speakers including Avraham Infeld, Hayim Herring, Noam Shalit, Jeannie Smith (daughter of Holocaust rescuer Irene Opdyke) and Miss Israel 2014 at our events.

Our PJ Library is able to offer outreach and engagement programs like Touch-a-Truck, Super Sunday Super Hero, and Birthday Party for Israel at Billy Beez, and provide Jewish-themed books to over 250 children, teaching Jewish values to our young families. Federation’s community Shlicha, Timna Mekaiten, has strengthened our connection to Israel with over 200 Hebrew school and adult education programs. Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is graduating its fifth class of up-and-coming community leaders, and Rockland Jewish Initiative (RJI) is connecting people to synagogue life and strengthening Rockland’s congregations.

Take a minute to read our newsletter to learn more about what we do. Come by our office at the Rockland Jewish Community Campus. See all that we are doing to ensure a vibrant Jewish Rockland today and for future generations. Make a donation to our 2014 Annual Campaign and help allow us to do more locally and overseas, and give hope to those in greatest need. Please give online before June 30 or call to make a pledge over the phone: 845-362-4200.
