On July 20, 2015, President Obama announced the nuclear deal that was agreed upon by the P5+1 countries (United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, and Russia) and Iran, and it was delivered to Congress to begin their 60-day review period.
The Community Relations Council (CRC) of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County has developed this resource page to provide the community with thoughtful analyses of the deal, important documents and statements, and educational opportunities. We believe that it is essential for everyone to examine all aspects of this agreement and to be informed of the different scenarios related to approving or rejecting the deal. We will update this information as it becomes available.
