Beth Am Temple invites the public to observe Sukkot, the harvest festival celebrating the bounty of the earth, with a short (under one hour) service on Monday, October 6 at 7 pm. The service will feature a talk from a Master Naturalist who will discuss ways to reduce the decline in plant and animal species by using the fallen leaves in yards as part of a year-round life support system for a complex food web. Following the service, participants are invited to a kiddush in the sukkah and to recite blessings while waving a lulav.
