The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), Rockland Section will sponsor a meeting to raise awareness about Human Trafficking, a form of modern day slavery whose victims are often invisible and silent. The featured speaker is Beatrice Kahn, Vice President of NCJW, Inc. and chair of the Trafficking Advisory Board promoting the national anti-trafficking initiative called Exodus. Exodus aims to heighten awareness, assist hundreds of thousands of commercial sex trade victims, and create social change through passage and enforcement of laws.
The program starts at 7:30 PM on December 3rd at Temple Beth El, 415 Viola Rd., Spring Valley. Refreshments, Free, Open to the Public.
