Rockland Community Security Initiative
With over 200 Jewish institutions in our network, over the past two years the Jewish Federation of Rockland in partnership with JCRC New York/CSI, has developed an exemplary security initiative for our communities. Supported by the LiveSecure project, this security initiative was integrated seamlessly with both neighboring and regional security infrastructure. The Rockland Community Security Initiative provides vulnerability assessments, cybersecurity consulting, active shooter, stop-the-bleed and volunteer training, grant application assistance and coordination with local and county-wide as well as state and federal law enforcement. We have also assisted in developing comprehensive security plans for synagogues, schools, camps and other community institutions.
