Our annual campaign saw a massive increase in the number of donors, going from under 600 to almost 1200. This follows from our goal of engaging more donors and continues an upwards trend. Our unrestricted campaign for 2024 (ending June 30) had a target of well over $700,000. Of note, gross fundraising of all kinds including annual campaign, emergency appeal, additional security funding and existing security funding came to a total (and record) of over $1,892,000 for the year.
This year also saw a revitalization of our Women’s Philanthropy division, with several events executed under the leadership of Melinda Levin, Lisa Green, and Hillary Hazan-Glass. We will continue to highlight opportunities for women to gather and support critical needs here and overseas.
Our experience this year has highlighted an imperative we have been identifying for some time. The Federation will expand its donor and corporate sponsor base beyond its traditional partners. This will enable the Federation to achieve its ambitious goals of addressing the needs of our community. As such, we have renamed our fundraising efforts - Community Campaign 2025. Our goal is to achieve $750,000 in unrestricted dollars from individual donors and continue to engage the number of people engaged in doing good together. Through small grants, we are also engaging parts of the nonprofit community who have not been tapped collectively to address some of the community's most pressing needs. Doing so allows the Federation to focus resources in the most high impact, low cost way.
